GLESEC Launches New Advanced Detection and Response Incident Management Service (EDR)

One of the most comprehensive ways to address Cyber Security in the market today

ORLANDO, FLORIDA. November 27, 2018. International Cyber-Security Firm GLESEC announces the launching of its Managed End Point Incident Response Service (MSS-EDR) as the newest offering of the Seven Element Cyber Security Model (7eCSMTM). The new service is based on advanced detection and response technology combined with around the clock services to effectively and with a high degree of confidence identify intruders, malicious software and protect and prevent the compromise of endpoints and servers across the enterprise in a manner not seen before in the industry.

“We believe the protection of the endpoints and servers as the last line of defense is of critical importance to any organization. The combination of the most advanced detection and protection technology in the world and best-of-breed, around-the-clock service brings to life this unique offering”, said Sergio Heker, GLESEC CEO.

In a world where these types of attacks can bring down a company or government, early detection and prevention is key. Managed Endpoint Detection and Response is used to detect suspicious user, network, process and file system activity; including Malware and Ransomware, and to “trick” attackers into revealing themselves; then and in continuous and around-the-clock forensic investigations, it eliminates false positives and confirms that the suspect activity is an actual attempt to compromise the system. This is then used to mitigate the threat, utilizing a number of potential options and following the pre-approved rules of engagement with our clients.

The users of MSS-EDR are provided with access to the GLESEC 7eCSM-GMP platform. They enjoy the capabilities of increased visibility, reporting, advisory and professional services, and security handling specific to Managed Endpoint Detection and Response such as advanced detection and response and incident management.

GLESEC’s Seven Elements Cyber Security Model (7eCSMTM) is a conceptual representation of the state of cyber security of a client organization, along with an alignment to a framework for proactively and responsibly addressing the client’s cyber security needs. The Risk, Vulnerability, Threats, Assets, Compliance, Access and Validation elements are activated by a combination of many services from GLESEC’s proprietary TIPTM platform. In this case: malicious applications and Ransomware detection, containment and removal.

The MSS-EDR service is powered by best-in-class technology from Cynet. Designed for organizations who want enterprise-grade security with complete protection within the perimeter, Cynet eliminates the need to deploy and maintain multiple security solutions and services. “We are proud to integrate the Cynet 360 platform into the GLESEC 7eCSM-GMP platform and provide organizations with managed, end-to-end detection and incident response” added Cynet COO Netanel Amar.
